Hi =)

Unfortunately I just got nailed for my first speeding ticket ever in NC (my first ticket ever) :( I was going 64 in a 45 zone, but it wasn't a school zone or work area or anything like that, just a normal road late at night.

I heard about something called a Prayer for judgement continued .. I've done some reading on it and no one in my family has ever used it (neither have I :) ) and I was wondering if I needed to hire a lawyer to use this or not?

Would it be ok to just go to court and say I want to invoke this?

Thanks for any help in advance :)

Also..

I'm very sorry =( I don't mean to spam but my court date is June 16th and I am 25 years old..thanks =)

Anything 15mph over in NC is an automatic license suspension and PFJ is usually not available. You can try talking to the ADA before your court date and see what they say. If you are not satisfied then retain an attorney. We would appreciate the court info and outcome. Thanks.

Get a copy of your driving record from DMV. It has to be an official copy with the seal on it. Bring that to court and then ask for the PJC. Without it they will not be willing to deal.
