hey i just recently pleaded not guilty in the court room and it seems like all the procedures they do are getting to my head....

well the story goes...i was hanging out in the parking lot with my friends when a cop rolls up unexpectedly and 3 kids ran while 5 others stayed. i was apart of the five others and as soon as they called us to their car, they collected our id's and started writing us all MIPs. All the beer they found were in 3 different cars and luckily, my car wasnt at the scene. Then, they pulled out the breathilizer and nothing registered. So, i got a MIP without breathilizer results and plus, i had nothing to do with buying the alcohol. Is this enough evidence to not be convicted??

What state is this in?

Keep in mind possession requires constructive control. If the alcohol were in a place where you could reach it, that could be enough to convict you. It really depends on the state law and the local court.

Great point. In addition, do you have the actual code section (text would be nice too!) which you are charged with?
