i recently got married b4 i met my wife she lived with my sister.my sister talked her into getting some credit cards and cosign a new car for her.they made a verbal agreement that if my wife did this my sister would make all the payments but none have ben made and now me and my wife are getting letters from creditors and the car payment has not ben made is there any thing my wife can do to get her name off credit cards and car we now owe over 7000$ in credit cards plus there is the car that has late payments and we cant afford it

Each creditor has rules on getting someone out of such agreements. I doubt your reason is good enough. Try posting in the Business, finance, debt section. There are many there who can give you advice.
