this is the first time i have ever done this and needless to say i'm ashamed.
i'm 20 years old and live in ohio. i was in macy's and got caught taking $297 worth of merchandise. i signed something saying i did intend to take it. the company is going to send me a fine and they said i also had to appear in court.
what do i do at court? what do i say? Do i plead guilty, since i signed that statement? Is there anything I can do, to have them not put it on my record.
this is my first offense and im a nanny for a family, and i don't want to lose my job.
i would appreciate any help, i'm going to be scared to death.
