Hi, here is my story. Not sure where I have to post this. I bought some furniture (couch and sofa) from a name brand store. This store is present usually in every mall in every city. This furniture was bought after paying $1700 + tax + shipping. Within 6 months of buying it, the furniture has broken twice and they continue to argue to keep fixing it. Its not due to wear and tare of the product, but the product in itself is built of bad quality. I hate to keep repairing the new product when its not supposed to be faulty in the first place. I argued a lot for the store to take it back and refund my money, but the store keeps arguing that they will only fix it. I am very frustrated that a name brand store does this and I am feeling as if they have robbed me of my hard earned money by selling a lousy quality furniture. I would like to take this to court but do not have any direction. Can any lawyer around here help me. This has made me sleepless for the past few days , since I feel this is a ripoff. Please help.

They are not obligated to take it back, but if you feel they should compensate you then you can take the matter to small claims.
You don't need a lawyer for small claims court and the process is pretty simple. The clerks at the court can guide you regarding the procedure.
Go to court, show the judge whatever information you have, give your argument, and let the judge decide if you should be compensated.
