Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft please help

Hi,

I was caught for shoplifting in a S. NJ Supermarket in last Dec. for amount of $15. The store did not involve the police and I have paid the civil demand right the way. And 2 months I received a release letter from the store.

My questions are:
1) Will the store enter my info into the retail theft database?

2) Will the store I'm currently applying the job find that out?

Please help!

We have no way of knowing that sorry. There are several ways the potential employer could find out

Thanks for the reply. Since there were no police involved I assume that only way that the potential employer
will find that out is thru the retail theft database right?

No there are other means one could find out. However it safe to assume that retail theft database would be primary source
