My boyfriend purchased a vehicle last Friday. We went to the car lot to purchase a truck and the car lot denied his credit, so we went to a local bank Navy Federal and had the car lot send a buyers order to them to show the amount of the truck and the payoff of our trade in. We were approved. Went back to the car lot on the same day and handed them a check for the truck. Well after signing all the paper work, the car lot then tells him that they did not fill the buyers order out right and he still owes 5,000.00 more dollars, so now they will not pay off our trade in so they our taking that payment as well as the new truck payment from out bank account which is keeping us from paying other bills such as rent. What options do we have?

If the contract has been signed then you need to review it and determine if the purchase price is the same as what the bank received.
If the contract has to be modified then either refuse and walk away from the deal or hold them to the original price.
Another option is to get the bank to add $5000 to the loan. You might get some assistance from the bank if you inform them what happened.... they have an interest in you being able to repay the loan, and it is the bank's purchase anyway.
If you can get out of this with your original vehicle back and no purchase that would be a good thing.

okay, thank you! I think we are going to try and hold them to it and see how that goes. The bank received the same purchase price as we did, we did talk to the bank and they told us that the car lot pretty much screwed their self. Now just trying to get them to pay the pay off on our old vehicle. I contacted our local police department and we have contacted J.A.G so I am going to hope for the best!

This isn't something the police can help with.
If they don't honor the contract you may be able to bring a civil suit. That is what the civil court is there for.
That doesn't help you in the mean time though.
Document everything. From here out make sure everything is in writing.
