So here is my situation... I am 18 years old and recieved my first alcohol ticket about 2 months ago for consumption of alcohol by a minor. I went to court for that and in the end had to pay a $452 fine and was put on unsupervised probation for a year. The probation entailed that I do not associate with those who use alcohol, obviously not drink alcohol myself, maintain a 12 oclock curfew, and to not violate any more laws. Trouble is, I just recieved another alcohol ticket!! It was in a different city and I was at a Halloween party when the cops came, breathalyzed me, and I of course got ticket number two. Some people got away without one though, which frustrates me greatly! Now I have court in about a week, Im not quite sure what to tell the judge since it is my second offense and I am on that probation thing. Should I make up a story and say that I didnt even know I was drinking alcohol or just tell the truth? Please give me advice! I dont want to go to jail...ahhh Im a very good kid and dont drink that often, I guess I just have bad luck. Any advice or knowledge you might have on this particular case of mine I will appriciate. Thanks so soooo much if you can help!!!

Jail is the last resource that the judge might give it to you . I don't think he will . you probaly have to pay more fines than b4 and attend more alcohol abuse programs and do community services .

Never lie to a Judge....

From personal experience (years ago) I was also cited twice for underage consumption and public intoxication. Get yourself into a treatment program now and stick with it. My advice would be not to lie to a judge ever!

This is what I did, I went to treatment, told the judge I had a problem and was seeking help on my own (looks good to a judge) and then I made sure to keep my nose clean until I was legally old enough to drink.

Not saying this will work for you but it is worth a shot. If you just get another fine, then thank your lucky stars and avoid those situations again.
