What's the law on landlords placing signs on rental properties

Aside from the ones everyone must obey, consult your lease. The terms would govern.

The Landlord either owns or manages the property (not the renters) therefore its safe to assume they can place signs in or on their property. Now I am guessing your landlord has placed a sign supporting a political view your against? Have you discussed this with your landlord?
