Hello Friends. Need some help. I've been asked by the court to submit to a polygraph to prove that a violation on my breathalizer was mouthwash and not alcohol. They cannot confirm nor deny my claim that mouthwash was the cause, therefore they requested I submit to a ploygraph test. Should I take the polygraph?

Unless you drink mouthwash with alcohol in it, it will not show up in the breath test.

As you know, many mouthwashes have alcohol in them and will show up on the breathalizer if you don't wait about 30 minutes for the alcohol to leave your breath. I've been told I don't have a choice. ---I'm very nervous which may cause a false positive on the polygraph.

Show me where a polygraph is used in court. Maybe on a re-run of law and order. Polygraphs are inadmissible.

In the real world, you simply file an affidavit and if it's not rebutted with facts, it's stands as the truth.

Why is this judge prosecuting the case? You may want to get the judge removed. Looks like this judge doesn't know his/her role.
