Last Friday night I was charged in Iowa with a PAULA (possesion of alcohol under legal age). However, I am pleading not guilty to this. Here is my story...I was out at the bar's for my roommate's 21 birthday party (I am only 20). I am normally not someone who goes to the bars and I hadnt been feeling well that day but decided to go for the sake of my roommate. Anyways, at the bar I was just playing pool and hanging out (not drinking). There was a drink on the pool table and the waitress came over to me and specifically asked me to move the drink as they aren't allowed to be set on the pool tables. I picked it up and was getting ready to give it back to the owner. The second I picked it up 3 cops came through the door and I panicked. I quickly handed the drink off, however, one cop saw it happen and pulled me out of the bar. I went out and tried told him I had not been drinking and asked him to give me a breathalizer but he denied me of it. Like I said, I am pleading not guilty, but what is my chance on getting this removed from my record??
