Drug Crimes, Substance Abuse Possession charges

Me and my friends were outside sitting at a picnic table when 4 police officers walked up. We had less than 3 grams of marijuana sitting on the table and a bong that had not ever been used. My car was parked 1 block away. They took my car key and searched my car and purse without asking. Two other people showed up that were minors . I got charged with possession, contributing to minors, and possession of paraphernalia. The other person admitted it was not my bong and I didn't know the minors. They arrested me and never read me my rights, is any of this dismissible?

Anything is possible, and the impossible can and does happen.

That said, plead not guilty, hire a lawyer (or ask the court to appoint one if you can't afford one), stay out of trouble during the pendency of this matter, SHUT UP about all of this, speak ONLY to your lawyer, wait, and leave the dope alone!

You do that, and magic can happen!!!

The whole thing is dismissible. A better question to ask is whether the situation is defensible, which it is, at least in part.
Lawyer up when you go to court and let your attorney figure out how to best defend you based on the full circumstances and information available.
The search of your car is suspect, but if they didn't find any evidence that is being used against you then you still have to deal with the rest of it which seems valid... well, except maybe for the contributing part.
This will ultimately be reduced to a simple possession offense.
