Im 22 years old and i attempted to steal $150 worth of groceries from a grocery store in New York State for the first time. I didn't make it out the door because i was stopped before i could leave by the grocery store workers and i left the cart. They allowed me to leave but took down my plates and called the cops. Whats the possible penalties i could get or the likely one?
