possible missing inheritance..

My oldest sister was the only one who had access to my mom's financial picture after taking my mom's ledger out of her desk. No one else has seen this but she swears my mom died not having a penny. Three days before my mom's passing my mom bought me a truck and said she would help if i wanted to start a business of my own. Is there any way i can know what my mom's financial situation was at the time of her death..without the passwords and everything written that my sister is not letting anyone see?
