Possilbe Foreclosure

I am trying to find out how I can obtain information about the owner of my rental property. My neighbor who also rents from the same people just recieved a pre-foreclosure notice. Me and my other 5 neighbors want to find out if our houses are next! If anyone can help me find this information out that would be great.

Call the county recorders office, they will tell you who owns the property-- not sure if they will tell you about the forclosure-- they may

I called them and they told me that they were not able to give me that information because I was the renter. I also want to find out who hold the mortgage on the property so I could possilbly call them to find out if it has been paid. This is aweful not knowing when there are so many families involved.

I actually know who the owner is, well according to what I pulled up on the internet, but I am not getting anywhere with him. He won't return calls or emails.
