I recently had an incident with a temporary fill in postman. A strange postal
worker showed up over the Holidays, not my regular guy, and came to my door an physically slamed the door shut and freaking out because he saw my
dog across the room asleep in her bed. I't startled both my husband and I so
we both came running to the front door. I asked the man what are you doing? Why would you act like that, which he responded I fear for my life from your dog. I laughed and said the one over there asleep. He said yes. I proceeded to ask him to drop the mail and go on. He thru the mail on the ground and left. About 10 minutes later he came back because he had a package for us. My husband tried to let him know he startled us and he shouldn't be upset and he told my husband nope, it's over your wife insulted me. We no longer get our mail since Christmas Eve, because the mail man filed paper work against us because of the dog. The dog never mad a sound or came anywhere near the front door.
I am wondering if I have any recourse for descrimination againt the postal worker or the post office. Clearly, I pissed the guy off and he showed me
by suspending my mail service.
