my uncle is power of attorney for my mother.. he has been since 2006... my mother and i had a right of survivorship deed done in 1995.. i'm not sure when my uncle became power of attorney if he changed all of this.. my mother isn't sure if she signed a will or not.. but my uncle is very bossy.. i was planning on getting married .. i have been staying with my mom since 1994.. i really don't want to leave her alone... but my uncle said if i get married i can't live here.. but the deed was in my mom's name and mine...do i have any rights at all or does the power of attorney override the deed and if there was a will doesn't that override the deed.. thanks

If you and ma are joint tenants, then uncle has no say over that real estate.

If ma is still competent, have her revoke uncle's POA and name you as POA.
