Premature Notice to Vacate

Apt. Complex gives notice of recertification on Nov. 4 stating that an appointment must be made within three weeks of recertification date which is Jan. 1, 2009. On same day, apt issues 2nd notice, and notice to vacate stating that apt will have to be vacated in 30 days, if appointment not made in 10 days. I know LIHTC properties can begin recertification processes 120 days in advance, but can they give notice to vacate when 1st notice states differently? Don't I deserve time to respond?

I don't know what all of this is about and you'll need to provide more information. I don't even know what state you're in either and whether that may make a difference. We also don't know exactly what the notice states. I can't really answer the question. It would seem on the surface that something is awry.
