Previous Owner Will Not Vacate

I have obtained real estate through warranty deed. The previous owner owed me for work performed. He was not able to pay and deeded the property to me. However, he now refuses to leave the property. I have filed for eviction and took him to court . But, of course, it is not an owner/tenant situation. How can I get him to vacate?

If it is your property and he won't leave, an eviction is proper in some jurisdictions. In others, an action for replevin is required. Check the laws in your state. Or, speak with an attorney.
