is it legal for lanlord to call my family members to inform them that i am late on my rent. no one is on our lease excepy me and my husband. my family has nothing to do with our lease

The lease agreement is between you and your landlord. What you need to do is ask her to stop placing those calls to your relatives, deal directly with you and leave your relatives out of this issue. Good luck!

How did Landlord get these numbers? Are you avoiding contact with Landlord as well as not paying rent? If Landlord is attempting to contact you through familky to rent I do not see this as unlawful. Now I suggest two things one do as previous poster said ask Landlord to stop this practice and two pay your rent on time.
