ok what has happened is that i had a camper up for sale, i was paid for the camper and then the man left to prepare his truck . the camper is a truck camper, the kind that sits in the back on the bed of the truck. he gave me the money for the purchase of the camper and siad he would be back.so he left and came back the next day to pick up the camper. we got the camper ready and got everything off my trcuk that he would need on his truck to haul the camper.then i pulled my truck out from under the camper( it has jacks to lift it up off the truck ) as i was doing this he put his plate on the camper, i warned him that he needed to get his truck up under the camper before the wind started again because the campers arent that sturdy on the jacks.so he finished putting the tag on and then got in his truck and backed up to the camper ,when he got close enough we realized the camper had to go up higher so we jacked the camper up and the jack hit its peak.they needed to be readjusted,so we are all trying to figure out what to do ,while we where doing this the camper tipped over in the middle of the street.it boke off a jack and bent another one up.the first thing he says is this isnt going to work.he backed out of the deal once it dropped like that,i told him the money was gone .he still refused the camper and took all the stuuf off his truck that we put on to hold the camper onto his truck.we neded up putting the camper back on my truck and he wanted me to fill out an iou which i did,because this whole process took like 4 hours. so he left without the camper and i now have a camper with broken jacks.now the camper was in the street,there was no bill of sale,and his tag was on it.i live in colorado springs colorado.i dont know the laws here but i need to know what my options are,do i have to pay the money back or does he need to get the camper? i feel as though he should take the camper.
