Alcohol & Drugs: MIP, MIC, Intoxication Probation in NC

I have to go to court Aug 10 for some drug charges. I am at risk of going on probation. What i am wondering is can you get in trouble for smoking pot before you are put on probation and having your drug test show up negative? How long after you are put on probation do they start drug testing?

Of course you can get in trouble and it will put you at risk with regard to whether you will receive probation. Why are you smoking pot when you are facing a drug charge? You should consider yourself fortunate ot have the opportunity to do probation. Don't mess this up! It's not worth it!
