I know a person that was is charge for distruction of property and disorderly conduct. The court will give him 4 years of probation, but all this is because of him being undet the influence of alcohol. He is a alcoholic. His drinks alot of beers. Is there a way that I could talk to the probational officer to obligate him to treatment and to stay in a half way house until he become a responsable person. If not he is going to cause harm to himself and other. I tried making him go voluntary, but he won't go. Or because of him being an alcoholic will he fail whrn he goes to his probation officer. And then he will do jail time. Either way work, because it keep him alway from alcohol and maybe turn his life around.
