Recently, my wife was hired at a medical office as a receptionist. After passing her 90 day probation period, she was given full employment and complete benefits. After being lauded and told she was doing "a great job" by her supervisor, she was told by the same supervisor she was being placed back on probation yesterday. The reasons they did this were vague, claiming my wife wasn't "fast" enough and that she seemed "overwhelmed". She was supposed to be trained for 60 days, but only received maybe a week of training. My wife has over 12 years of experience in this field. We can't understand that if she was "overwhelmed" or not "quick" enough, why did they offer full employment? Why did they wait three weeks to inform her she was, in their opinion, deficient? My wife is embarassed and insulted by their actions. What is our recourse?
