My mother just recently passed away this week. My sister is now causeing MANY problems. I guess we can start with the "easy" problem. My mother left the entire estate to my niece and I to split (as stated in her will). Our mother had her lawyer write the will as late as 2001. Now my sister wants to try and fight it. Does she have any legal ground to do that? Now the second problem, the same sister borrowed $8200 from our mother two years ago using some furniture as collateral. Since my sister has made NO effort to pay the loan back, does that mean her furniture is forfited and now part of the estate?
