I have tried applying for insurance through government funded agencies for my son who was born in the US, I was born abroad as a military dependent and have the documentation to prove status as a citizen, and everytime it gets to the location of my birth they want me to show them a list of documents proving not only his citizenship but my own and as such I give them Certified copies of everything they request that I can provide and still they say it isnt enough and are unable or unwilling to give the information that they need to prove our citizenship.
