I own many pieces of mahinery, some purchases back in 1990's. While I do have receipt of these pieces, there is no bill of sale. A family member let me use a building of his, rent-free, to store and use the machines in. Now I want to remove them and put in a building of my own.
I am afraid there will be problems with the family member and he will try to say the machines are his. Is there any other legal forms I need to have to show proof of ownership and have notorized so I don't have any problems?

If there was somebody who could give you such a form, how would you prove to them that you own the machinery?

A receipt is usually pretty good proof. Unless you think your brother has something better, I wouldn't worry about it. You might want to call him to advise him when you'll be picking up just to feel out if there will be any problems.
