Proper transfer of title to house left in Will.

When my Mother recently died her will left her estate to my Father unless he preceded her in death in which case her estate passed to her children. My Father died in 1983 and had no will so his estate passed half to his children and half to my Mother. I think I need to file something to show that my Father was never married except to my Mother and that there are no children other than those named in the will in order to insure a clear title. What document should I file with the county clerk. The will was probated as a muniment of title and all other documents have been filed.

Have a title company who does business in the county where the land is located do a title report on the property; tell them you need to know exactly what is necessary for you to do in order to get the title transferred.
