Property Owner ASsoc issues

The POA of our community has informed us that we are required to put brick skirting on our deck as mandated in master declaration. However numerous others in community don't have skirting on deck. We feel we are being singled out and want to know if they can arbitrarily require us to do something they are not requiring of other residents. We are new to the community. Deck has met all building codes. There is no consistent enforcement of master declaration. Can we fight this?

Before you fight them, request a meeting with the POA and have them explain to you why they are requiring the brick skirting from you and not from others. Good Luck!
