Have been employed for the past eight years in three different capacities (by promotion) by an International company based in Zimbabwe. Late last year, I was advised, via email, that I was incompetent in my current capacity & management had withdrawn an earlier undertaking to promote me. I responded, via email as well, in the negative & proved the accusation was baseless & malicious. No hearing was ever held, no withdrawal of the charges has been made & no formal explanation has ever been given.
Further, by innuendo, they accused me of being a thief & auditors were called in to verify my records. Again nothing amiss was found. Lately, I've heard the new GM just doesn't like me and he wants me to go!! I was then asked for a termination proposal which I've had no feedbackon for 5 months. At present I am still working in the same capacity immediately before the email. What are my options? Pse assist!!!
