There was a noise complaint for my house and as I left police were sitting at the bottom of the driveway. He said he was letting me off with a warning concerning the noise complaint and to keep it down . As I pulled away a buddy of mine cranked the music and started singing some country song. I get pulled over nearly a mile from my house and he said we were yelling out the window and so now he was gonna give me a hard time. He had another officer walk around the vehicle checking the tires and others things and ended up giving me unclear plates and obstructed view. The obstructed view was the little tree air freshener. The plates were in no way unclear it had a border around it that didnt even block the words garden state or new jersey.

Should I pay these tickets or fight them you think? It seems like he really had no reason to pull me over. I also had four other people in the car who could serve as witnesses.

You are free to plead not guilty and make the state prove their case.

You are also free to put on witnesses.

You need to understand that NO ONE cares about rights, certainly not the court and the persecutor.

Their one job in traffic court is to extort money from people.

Personally, I don't like to play where the deck is stacked and the dice loaded.

You might want consider working a deal.

Yeah, deals suck, if you believe you're innocent.

But, they don't care.

If you lose, think what that could mean for insurance rates.

Fight it. You are likely to at least get the offenses reduced, and there is always the chance the officer will not show up.
