I purchased a laptop from a company and had it bulit to what i needed, the problem is when I talked to the sales rep. and he was helping me to pick out what I needed for my laptop, I needed a optical drive that would read and write my Karaoke format CD+G disks, when we talked about the Blu-Ray CD/RW/DVD Burner he and a tech. assured me that this unit would do my CD+G format, after numorus times of contacting the company and tring to explain to them that this drive does not read or write CD+G format, they kept sending me to tech who said it was a soft ware issue and not my optical drive, so I contacted my software company and the checked my system and told me it was not and that it was a hardware/optical drive issue, so I called back the company who sold me my laptop and once agin told them it was a hadrware problem, they will not do anything about this problem, I asked them to change out the drive to the proper one I needed and they said they couldn't. Now they claim I'm out of the 21 days to make a change in the drive. I paid over $200.00 for this optical drive so that it would do my Karaoke disks and it doesn't, I feel that the salesman misrep. the product and that the tech. who assured me that yes it would do my CD+G format, I even talked to their Customer Service dept a few times and that was a joke also about getting this issue resolved::(.
Is there anything legally I can do about this, I have spent hours on my cell phone tring to get this matter resolved with no end in sight with this company.

Your recourse is to return the computer. Obviously, this manufacturer does not have the part you want to have on your computer. Good Luck!
