Last October, I was arrested and charged with a felony called Larceny by Employer. What I had done was sold some of the pizza bags from domino's, where I worked, on EBAY. It was my first time being in trouble and I totally cooperated and was honest with the police. I hired a lawyer, and because I had no prior record and I was cooperative, he made it so that if I stayed out of trouble for six months, my record wouldn't be blemished (prayer for judgement?) So last night, 14 days before the six month period is up, Im delivering pizzas and I got a ticket for not wearing a seatbelt. My question is will this minor traffic violation affect a criminal matter? I just graduated from college and im gonna be looking for a job soon, and I dont want that history popping back up. thanks in advance.

Of course not, that is merely a moving violation (traffic). That is not a criminal offense. What you were likely put on with PTI (pre-trial intervention). They let you enter into this type of contract so it won't remain on your record after the probationary period is up, providing you don't get in any criminal trouble. A seatbelt violation does not apply. Breathe easy.

Only in very few cases are traffic violations used against you while on probation. Yes, a traffic citation is a criminal offense and could be used against your probation. This usually only happens if you are arrested and taken to jail. If you where given a citation for DUI, driving without or on a suspended license, reckless driving, hit and run, aggressive driving, and taken to jail (the jail would contact your probation officer and he/she would make the decision if it was enough to be considered breaking probation). In your case where you where given a citation and released for a seat belt should not affect your probation at all.
