Ok, a former co-worker of mine did $3,300 damage to my car and his insurance went bankrupt and wont pay me. Now i've tried calling him to demand the money but he doesn't return my phone calls.
According to the L.A. county small claims website, I must demand the money from him before I can file a claim....but what if I cannot contact him?
Can I still file a claim? Or can I send him a notice in the mail demanding the money? Thanks in advance.
