Was arrested for shoplifting ($11.00) Walmart. Long story but I was not stealing.
Anyway, got an attorney, met with him, he tells me that I am not looking at jail time etc...(This was all in a previous post)
My question is this, since my initial meeting with him, I have heard NOTHING!
Is this unusual...to not hear from your attorney? And second he asked me to call him the day before to remind him of my court date!
Now I paid the retainer fee ($1,500.00) I was later told this was high....Am I in trouble here or is this common practice for attorneys?
