A company in Texas ships out product a customer orders. they use USPS. when the customer goes to pick up the item the package is torned open. All the contents of the package are gone. the post office where customer lives states once it reached their postal office it was already torned open and empty. Who is responsible? No insurance on package. Nor was insurance offered from purchaser.

thanks,
Michael

If you have documentation from the post office that it was received damaged I would expect the company would honor that and replace the item. If they refuse, try to dispute the transaction with your credit company since no merchandise was received.
