racing on highway?

Well lastnight I got a ticket for "racing on a highway" (3367-a)
What happen was I driving down a old road me and 2 friends and a mustang was in front of me he pulled over to the right of the road and was about to make a right he put down his window and waved me down I stopped and he asked somethings about my car, We were talking car to car and his friend stepped out to take a look at my car. 2 mins later a cop pulls in front of my car blocking my car in and the mustang pulled away leaving just me on the road cop told me to tune my car off and get out he asked if it was a race or something going on, I told him nothing like that at all. We were not doing anything but talking. So with all that being said I was giving a ticket for "racing on a highway" with a $1000 fine. I looked up this on google and everyone giving this ticket was really racing!! And all I doing is just talking what kinda fight do I have here? I think this is a bs ticket it almost like saying heres a speeding ticket for being parked.

If the officer did not witness you racing the car he will have a hard time explaining the citation in court.
Appear in court when you are supposed to and be prepared to explain the situation to a judge and ask questions of the officer about the race that he observed.

Tom, your story is so ridiculous it's hard to even believe. No offense because the truth is often stranger that fiction. If you tell the same story to the judge that you told us and the cop doesn't have more than what you said, you will beat the ticket. That's just odd that he would give you a ticket for the facts that you told us. Good luck.

I know it mite be hard to believe, The street we were on is a known street for racing I guess thats why the cop would think we were going to race what is understandable but for once this wasnt the case when I say all I was doing was sitting and talking thats it, No engine revving burning out nothing at all the mustang was not even lined up with me he was half way turned to make a right hand turn.
