Hi. I'm about to file a civil suit against a veterinarian for medical negligence. Can I still do that even though I filed charges against her with the attorney general? I was recently in small claims court, the judge dismissed the case stating it was a civil suit not small claims but the veterinarians lawyer tried to get it dismissed because I filed charges with the attorney general, can that be done?
