Reading Of Will

I am just wondering if a will has to be read in a certin amount of time or if it can be read any time after the person has passed i dont know if it matters but i live in oregon. we are just wondering becase of family disputes and a sister being the one who has it.

A "reading of the will" is usually only in the movies. Normally the person with the will is suposed to produce it and file it with the probate court within thirty days. Oregon may be different but the clerk at the probate court can tell you. If it has been longer or you think the person will not produce the will, anyone with standing can open probate.
