A former friend contacted me and asked me for a personal loan to save her house from being forclosed/auctioned off that day. (Sidenote; she has a restraining order in place against me). I did a wire transfer from my bank to hers. Total $3620. If she does not pay the money back. I live in one state and she lives 1500 miles away in another state. What recourse do I have? Can I file lien against her home in her state? How does her contacting me and communicating with me to get her personal loan affect the protective order against me? In closing... please slap me and call me stupid, thank you may I have another. Please advise.

Q: What recourse do I have?

A: You can file a lawsuit against her in the county where she lives.

Q: Can I file lien against her home in her state?

A: Yes; when you get a judgment against her, it may be a lien against her real estate.

Q: How does her contacting me and communicating with me to get her personal loan affect the protective order against me?

A: I don't know; I haven't read the order.
