We have a house in upstate Ny.
We have a realtor.
We have him show our house even when another realtor brings in a buyer. The buyers agent is always there also.
We had a showing. The buyer really like the house.
The buyers agent told our agent the taxes are too high.He told our agent that Schenectady the city where our house is is"bad".He said to our agent that he grew up in the area and didnt like it.
He said the schools in Schenectady were bad.(educationally wise Schenectady school are very good. The realtor is saying they are bad becuase the schools are high ratio of African AMerican and hispanic)The buyer is a African American. This was all said in front of the buyer.
Then the realtor told our agent that the buyer would give us a offer of $130,000(listing price $159,900)The realtor said the reason being because when the buyer wants to sell it in 5 years,it probably won't be worth that much.We were outraged when we heard this.
Our realtor told us what was said. Then we listened to it.We tape our showings .
What should be done in this situation?thank you ,Denise
