rear ended by suv 100% fualtless in police report.

i was in an accident earlier this year. company veh hit me from behind driver was not paying attn. police report says i was not at fualt my car has some had $7000.00 worth of damage to it which they fixed. i was also injured my neck and got treated for it. my final medical realese bill was submitted to the adjuster at the begining of the month. i called to start an injury claim an the adjuster said that earlier at the middle of this month the company that owned the vehicle filled for chapter 11 and that they were going to wait for the judjes verdict. what does this mean for me? they have already paid for the body work(car is still not the same). but not for the injury and loss of wages and all of that. the adjuster seems like he is being honest and helpfull. but i want to know my rights. if the company goes bankrupt does that mean im stuck with the medical bills? if any one has any advise please let me know. thank you.

If the information checks out, you might have to wait until their bankruptcy hearings are over. Some companies and rules require a freeze on payments and other stuff which they go through the process. There is not much you do but wait. They have not denied your claim but just asked you to wait.
