The truth is the cop intentionally gave me a "Disobeyed Solid Red Light" citation for passing through a yellow light. I'd like to go to the court to confront him. Please advise if the following imaginary conversation is reasonable:

Me: On the day you gave me a citation, did you mention that you usually give warnings in this situation but people keep on doing that, which often caused accidents, so you'll give me a ticket this time instead.
Cop: Yes.

Me: On that day you gave me a citation, did you also mention that the only time a person should go through a yellow light is when he is already in the intersection.
Cop: Yes.

Me: Is it fair to say that you hate people running through yellow light?
Cop: Yes.

Me: Is that why you pull me over?
Cop: No. I pulled you over because you run through a red light.

Me: When you pull people over for red light violation, do you always give citations?
Cop: Mostly.

Me: Then why did you say you usually give warnings for my situation? Is my situation "Disobeying Solid Red Light" that you usually give citations, or is my situation "Running through Yellow Light" that you usually give warnings?
Cop: ...

No, the cop isn't that stupid.
Neither is the prosecutor.
You'd have finished those sentences when the prosecutor objects. The cop won't answer, and you'd never get to question a witness the way you propose.

Go to traffic school, or pay the citation. Otherwise you'll regret trying to play your game.

One more thing, police officers have wide latitude and are able to exercise broad discretion when it comes to enforcing the law. The fact that 100 people before you received warnings, and you were cited is legally irrelevant. Your thought process, as is your legal reasoning is fatally flawed.
