hi,

my brother was convicted of first degree murder and sentenced to life in prison without parole. the prosecution said he was "acting in concert". prosecution had no dna, evidence, or murder weapon. the co-defendant who commited the crime wrote in his confession/statement at the time of arrest that my brother was in the car and did not know what happened. but the co-defendant fled the country and didnt show up for trial. so his statement was not admissible as evidence. the prosecution had one witness who claimed on stand that my brother did know what was happening, so the jury found him guilty. since the trial- that witness (the only witness they had on trial) has come forth to a lot of people and admitted that he fabricated the truth because he was pressured to do so by the detectives.

how can this help my brother now? he is sitting in prison for life based off this witness' testimony? and what does this witness have to do in order to fix this? and who does he have to go to?

you said no one is dead? how can it be 1st degree. your brother could be as guilty as the who killed her cause he knew and didnt stop him. i have a friend like your brother situation and got 60 years to life in prison. in california the makes a new law saying that if you are company with the crime was committed you are as gulity as the man doing it. my friend went out to a club and his friend show up and killed someone. the juror find him guilty too. cause he knew the murder and didnt stop him. unless he could proof that he didnt have any acknowledge and the murder is a lair, or file new body of discover based on new evident, hepea corspe something like the to demand a new trial. there is alot of innocent man in prison cause of their friend. just dont give up. remember the black guy from black panther, he was innocent all lone but johnnie corhanran proved that the d.n.a doesnt match his. snitching could be as evidence. the open question is, was he there on the night or day where the crimes was committed?

have him write on a papers and recording. hire a good lawyer to filed a motion to new trial.
he is sitting in prison for life based off this witness' testimony?
testimony could be powerful evidence depend how crediblity it is.
and what does this witness have to do in order to fix this? and who does he have to go to?
you need a good appeal later and have hope the appeal court/u.s.supreme order a new trial. overall it is a very expensive case and if you dont have money for it, then justice will never be answer. pray god helps but truth will set him free.
