My jurisdiction is: Nevada

I started on a Credit Repair in February and because of financial reasons we had to leave one off of the program. We intended to put in the program. Well yesterday they served me and I did not sign for it and they just put in on the ground. Anyway, they are looking for a response in 2 ways, filing a $33 fee or responding to the Attourney listed below, I want to work out a repayment plan, which is the best way to get this done. Thank You

Leave one what off the program?
yesterday they served me
They who? Served you with exactly what?
I want to work out a repayment plan, which is the best way to get this done.
Talk to the lawyer that served you. That's the only person you should be talking to. I would also file a response to the summons - you don't want to be noted in default.

I am sorry, what I meant was I left one credit card company off the program. And I was served with a summons, and it asks either file a $33 fee or respond to the attourney listed below.

WAIT!!! That doesn't sound like a summons. It may be some slick collection company pretending to send out a summons just to get money and cooperation.

First, a summons is a complaint against you in a court and only requires you to Answer the complaint in court-no fee. Fees are on the Complainant not the Defendant. If the "summons" you received is real it will be from a court, delivered by a sheriff or process server and it will say that you have so many days to file an Answer in the court that sent it to you. Otherwise it's just a collection gimmick.
