I recently got a ticket for reckless driving, but i seriously dont know why he gave it to me. I was going 75mph on the internet state and he said something about a 18 wheeler truck. which i think its because i probably got a little to close to it when i passed it. He didnt write me a speeding ticket up. All he gave me was reckless driving. I called him the next day and asked him was it reckless driving to be sure. I then asked him to explain to me exactly why he gave it to me and he said thats what court is for. Isn't there a law that i can ask him to send me or fax me his notes on the case so i can see what he is talking about?

You can obtain these items through discovery. The process is different in each state and you might have to contact the court in question to find out how to obtain discovery. if this is a criminal offense and there is a chance of jail time (and there almost certainly is), do NOT do this yourself - hire an attorney.

I wish I could do 75 on the internet. Seriously, this will cost you in insurance premiums. The statute number is on the ticket and you can read the charge by going to the Code of Laws for your state. You need to at least consult an attorney.
