I received a citation for "Failure to Obey a Traffic Signal" in Henrico County, Virginia. Does Virginia Law allow for a Prayer For Judgement in traffic cases similiar to the law in North Carolina? I have an otherwise exemplary driving record with no violations.

Sorry to say but Virginia does not have "prayer for judgement" as they do in North Caroilina. If your driving record is clean then you can most likely go to court and keep it off your record. You may also be allowed to do driving school, online driving school may be a option if the judge allows you to. Unless the judge is in a horrible mood that day and your record is as clean as you say then you should prevail with no points. Then again noone can say what a judge is going to do.
