I had a vehicle reposesed, I have been sued,they have not provided a postal reciept showing they gave us the right to redeem. Are they intitled to a deffishacy balance in Okla. if they can not provide that document. They say they sent a letter giving that oppertunity but we never got it. Thank you for you help Don Hicks

Yes there is a 10 day time limit before they can sale the vehicle-- this give you a opportunity to redeem it back (on their terms of course) so they are to send that letter to the last known address they have on file-- per the contract-- you are the one responsible to provide your current address at all times, so if they had a bad address and you never got the letter not their problem. They don't need to give you a postal receipt just a copy of the letter --
