I was a RN , worked for the above hospital for 32 years. I was retired as 12/31/10. On my final check, they refused to pay my uniform allowance which was $ 150.00/year. they said that I had to work pass my anniversary date which was 1/10. Only 10 days short. I felt very unfair, I had gone through my union for prorated pay, still denied. I sent e-mail to the president of the hospital, no response.

I used to get my uniform allowance in December until 2005, for no reason, they moved my allowance to be paid in January. If they did not change, I would have my allowance in December, 2010.

Thanks for your help.

Looks like the employer has spoken.
Your union sides with the employer.
You aren't going to get that $150.
Time to enjoy your retirement years.
