I plead guilty to kissing a minor in il in 1999. I moved to fl registered. I moved out of fl in 2003. I was removed from il registry in 2009.I live in tn was also removed from tn registry in 2009.I bought a gun last summer tn did a back ground and discovered I am still on fl sor . On 8/4/14 tn made me come in and register after 5 years removed from tn sor. I have a clean record only conviction was in il in 1999. Kissing a minor. ( criminal sexual abuse). Can I be removed from the sor in fl.

Once you're put on that registry, very, very few ever get off.
But, you need to be honest.
Kissing a minor isn't WHY you're on that registry.
It's embarrassing, I'm sure. It's inconvenient, no doubt.
It's also like a felony conviction for any felony, it never goes away UNLESS you get a pardon.
If you're bound and determined to get your gun, start by talking to a couple lawyers.
See what they advise they might be able to do for you.
Without a lawyer, you have ZERO chance of getting a gat.
With a lawyer, maybe a 5% chance.

I am not a felon. I voted yesterday in the tn primary. I didn't attempt to purchase a gun I bought a gun.

I never went to prison. I was not fined nor placed on probation. I agreed to register for 10 years.... I was ordered to get a sex offender evaluation no treatment was required. The doctor told the court is his report that based on the evidence he didn't understand why I was charged.
